    Tenga en cuenta que esta clase no será realizada en la oficina principal de Urban Edge. Es una clase virtual y será completada en tres días a través del programa Zoom comenzando Junio 10, de 6:00 PM a 9:00 PM. La segunda parte será Junio 12 de 6:00 PM a 9:00 PM y la última sesión de esta clase será Junio 17 de 6:00 PM a 8:00 PM. Se enviará un correo electrónico con las instrucciones de esta clase en línea a todos los participantes registrados. Para recibir la certificación de CHAPA y HUD, es requerido completar los tres días de clase.

    June 24th & 26th 2025 6-9PM English First Time Homebuyer Course
     - 6/24/2025 6:00 PM
    This is a virtual class via Zoom class. Zoom links are sent the day before or day of class, not sooner. To receive CHAPA and HUD certification Participants will be required to complete an online program in addition to the webinar classes. An email with a class link and instructions for the online portion will be sent to all registered participants. This training provides first-time homebuyers with a thorough understanding of the home purchasing process, including an introduction to the mortgage process, understanding credit standards, conventional lending criteria and preparing for the loan closing. The interactive workshops involve detailed presentations from industry professionals including a home inspector, real estate broker, lending officer, real estate lawyer, home insurance agent, and fair housing specialist. If homebuyers attend 8 hours of class time, they earn a certificate that gives access to specialized mortgage products and other benefits and discounts, including additional training. Pre-registration for this class is required.

    In depth information on budgeting and credit. In Part 2 of the class, you will have the opportunity to meet one on one with a banker or counselor to create a customized strategy. This is not a first-time homebuyer class, the certificate from this class will NOT give you access to down payment assistance or mortgage products.
